The forest has trails leading to many points of interest. We are currenly  involved to trail building, maintenance, and clearing existing trails.

Trail #1 — Silas Road (6 Intersections)

Trail #4 — Peanut Butter Trail (3 Intersections)

• 4B: Mid-point at Iron Mine site. (Sign Need: Peanut Butter Trail, Iron Mine Trail, Cabin #2)

• 4C: End of Peanut Butter / End of Laurel / Start of Oak Ridge. (Sign Need: Peanut Butter Trail, Laurel Trail)

Trail #5 — Oak Ridge Trail (6 Intersections)

• Start at Oak Ridge: Origin point. (See 4C)

• 5B: Foot trail to camping area and Orchard #1. (Future tracking)

• 5C: End of Bear Trail. (Sign Need: Oak Ridge Trail, Bear Trail)

• 5D: Low point clearing. (Future tracking)

Trail #7 — Sadisky Road (4 Intersections)

Trail #8 — Laurel Trail (4 Intersections)

• 4C: Origin point at Peanut Butter Trail. (See 4C)

• 8B: Southern end of the Island feature.

• 8C: Access trail to the Bat Cave.

• 8D: Terminus at Muddy Log Trail.

Trail #9 — Muddy Log Trail (3 Intersections)

• 9A: Origin at Muddy Log / End of Sourwood (Sorghum Project site).

• 8D: Terminal intersection of three trails: Laurel Trail, Muddy Log Trail, and Iron Mine Trail.

Trail #10 — Fern Trail (3 Intersections)

• 4B: Origin point at Peanut Butter Trail. (See 4B)

• 10B: Turn-off corridor point to Cabin #2.

• 8D: Terminus point at Muddy Log Trail and Laurel Trail.

Trail #20 — Creekside Trail

• Path Corridor: Runs parallel to the western bank of the creek.

To meet our community safety and navigation goals, the DFC is actively routing and deploying physical outdoor signboards across the network.
